Block Resource
Centers (BRC)
BRC at block level have been
looking after in-service training as per the need of the primary & upper
primary school teachers and other functionaries at block level. In addition to training, BRCs are responsible
for monitoring and Supervision of schools and provide on-job support to the
teachers. Each BRC is assisted by 5
Resource persons from primary and secondary schools cadre. viz., Block
Resource Persons (BRP), who support and assist Block Resource Center
Coordinator.
BRPs regularly visit the school and monitor
the attendance of pupils as well as the teachers in addition to providing
academic support to schools while conducting training and during school visits.
They also monitor the utilization of Audio-Visual Equipment (AVE) and other
teaching learning material. They participate in monthly inter active meetings
held at CRC level and provide valuable suggestion in class room transaction.
Cluster
Resource centers (CRC)
At the cluster level the
Cluster Resource Center has been looking after the implementation of all the
schemes/programs of the department .Each cluster has 16 – 10 schools both Lower
and upper primary. They regularly visit schools and provide necessary academic
support to the teachers. The CRP conducts monthly Interactive meetings for teachers
during which the teachers will plan for the teaching of the coming month. They
play key role in collection and consolidation of data at school and cluster
level. In Hospet block 19CRCs, 2 language CRCs have been given. Active teachers from the primary school cadre
are deputed through written test and Interviewing to each CRC. Their services have been utilized to the
maximum extent in supervision, monitoring and guidance.
